A dream team is what the cowboys had in the 1990’s you have to have a hall of fame runningback, a huge offensive line and a bunch of pro bowl pass rushers. The eagles have none of that they just signed a few high profile free agents because they are so desperate for something to happen. It is almost comical to think of them as a dreamteam.
They’re not you idiot. Vince Young, who had been with the Eagles for two seconds said that and is among the dumbest players today, the media took it and ran with it and now the media is calling them that. Reid even said he didn’t want that attention on his team and declined to answering any questions about that. I don’t even know why you Cowboys fans are sweating the Eagles so much. Maybe instead of remembering winning a SB 15 years ago, you worry about at least them making one in this decade instead of bragging about something you did years ago. Maybe you should worry about your joke for a secondary instead of the Eagles. Maybe you should worry about your overrated ILBs and DEs instead of the Eagles or maybe that weak line you think will magically fix itself or making sure your runningbacks can at least get 900 yards.
Anybody remember when they loaded up with allstars in free agency and ended up not making the playoffs? Well which team do you think meets a similar if not exact fate? Yes both teams made impressive moves but you can’t win a championship on paper. You can only win a championship on the field.
That’s not accurate at all, plus you know everyone will say the Eagles. The Redskins loaded up on washed up players that no.one wanted anymore. Gave them huge contracts,gave them big roles and got nothing out of them. With the Patriots, they didn’t sign anyone but traded for guys that they think they can fit into their system and make it work. The Eagles only really signed and traded two star players who are still in their prime in Nnamdi and Rodgers-Cromartie to shore up arguably the biggest problem.in the team at CB and that’s what you want to do in FA, fix your weaknesses you didn’t adress in the draft. They then signed Babin as a temporary replacement for DE Brandon Graham who will be placed in the P.U.P for the first few weeks, otherwise he wasn’t signed at all and I believe he will not even remain with the team his whole contract and is gone as soon as Graham shows he can play. Cullen Jenkins was signed to make some improvement at DT and help in run stopping and despite what most believe, he has actually played in 4-3 scheme.before and wasn’t "terrible" but actually productive. The other signings on offense of Vince Young, Ronnie Brown, and Johnnie Lee Higgins, Ryan Harris, Steve Smith were for depth insurance and competition purposes only, and you couldn’t really say they’re "stars" could you?? They’re not expecting huge roles and production out of them but rather small back up and depth roles to.relieve the starters when needed. Those signings weren’t actually very significant and it’s everyone trying to.make it seem more like a star signing than it really is. It’s not like they offered contracts to washed up players like TO, Kelly Gregg, Tully Banta Cain, Shaun Ellis, Larry Johnson, Larry Foote, Jason Taylor, Derrick Mason and expected them to play big roles and win a championship. They signed young guys and savvy veterans (Young being the exception of.either) to play big roles on defense and depth roles on an already great offense. That’s not a bad thing to do, but rather something that helps your team be even better. People can keep saying the Eagles are the Heat of the NFL, but at that point they’re jug fooling themselves.
Honestly even if they make it to the playoffs they willl choke. In my opinion they are a cursed team for signing Micheal Vick. What do you think about this hype about the Eagles?

People who say that don’t really look at the entire team, rather just the corners, and the stats that Michael Vick put up last year. They can’t stop the run game, their o-line sucks, and their linebackers are almost as bad as the Giants. Michael Vick is the highest risk/reward QB in the league. You never know what you’re gonna get out of him, or if he’ll even stay healthy.

I greatly agree. we got Asante covering one angle of the field which is nice. But to bad we still didnt have Sheppard and Brown. I miss Westbrook and McNabb and Dawkins, whats up with the Eagles management.

The Lions have "exposed them"?? Give me a break. Fumbles, wacky interceptions, poor playing calling…that was the worst half of football i’ve seen from the Packers all year (and I watch every single game) Please stop.

Philly fans are the biggest whiniest sore losers in the history of sports… it is with great pleasure to see them lose at any given time. But it is even sweeter when they get a chance and they blow it during the wildcard .
