Sony Vegas has a cropping feature. Makes it easy to get rid of that nonsense. Use the Pan/Crop tool.

Just one question: How did you made those labels (view name and zoom) on the top right of the screen vanish? Did you narrowed the clip view or did you change somthing on FSX to make the labels disappear, it’s because I simply can’t make videos that occupy the full screen without having cookie cutter effects applied so I can hide those god forsaken labels!

Very nice. As a pilot, it is actually harder to fly a computer flight sim than a real plane (at least from the perspective of 3D spatial relations).
The TrackIR has helped a lot in the flight sims, to be able to just look around to get the feel for where you are in space.
This video shows that with practice, skill and the right equipment (fast computer, TrackIR, HOTAS controllers), the realism gets better and better.
