Who took more of a risk disturbing their team chemistry? The Eagles or The Vikings?

Posted on March 31st, 2010 by admin

I mean both of these teams are Championship caliber teams. They have a good thing going, who took more a risk with Favre or Vick? Who would be more disappointed if they don’t produce?

Vick is the bigger risk and distraction going into the season. His character and previous problems have to potential to backfire on the entire Eagles organization. With the protests that are going to take place at every stadium and the media cameras that will be at every practice, it is going to get on the players’ nerves by the end of the season.

Favre, however, will be the biggest disappointment. Face it. Vick is a sideshow act in Philly. He will be there to run the ridiculous wildcat offense a couple of times a game. They only have 1.6 million invested in him and have skill players at other positions. Favre is being looked at as the last and greatest puzzle piece in Minnesota. Mush more pressure on him than Vick.

Vick will not disrupt the locker room…..almost all the Eagles players have thrown their support around Vick…

Vick is not a factor because he will hardly ever play. Who was McNabb’s backup last year?

Favre will seriously handicap the Queens because he is used to being the focal point of the offense and, quite honestly, he’s never had the skills to measure up. The Queens will have to decide if they want want go with their stud RB running the ball or an overrated has been tossing picks,
The longer it takes, the better it is for my Bears…and Childress will never be mistaken for a rocket scientist. Hence, this late signing.

Is this really a question? To even mention thug Vick in the same sentence with the legend Favre should be a felony.

The Eagles did. Vick brings a bad image and bad publicity to the Eagles, which at some point this season will cause a problem in the locker room. And, besides, he doesn’t really add anything to the team. He hasn’t played in 2 years, and he wasn’t a great quarterback to begin with. He was just a running back trying to play quarterback and was ultimately brought in to help with a gadget play.

Vikings. Favre will probably only be there one season. Then the current QB will still be there, and probably be pissed. Vick is not going to be the starting QB unless there is a major injury. The main problem there will be PETA.

I think it’s funny how everyone buys into this locker room distraction bullshit. Believe me, there are bigger distractions than some guy that you hardly ever talk to and only see 2 hours a day for practice. Im sure There are much nastier players on the Eagles team than Vick on the Eagles. Being a Weakside Linebacker in college, I can tell you that there are some nasty, evil dudes that play football.

Now as far as the actual chemistry, the answer goes to Favre. He will have to get used to his receiver’s styles of route running and maybe learn a new offense. It will be especially hard for favre because he came from a run and gun Packers team and Jets team, now he will have to hand it off to AP more often.

The Vikings, because Farve is a prima donna. Most players support Vick’s opportunity at a second chance in the league.
