How exactly does a hockey fantasy team work?

Posted on October 22nd, 2011 by admin

Hi guys! I’m about to make a fantasy hockey team and I have no idea what I’m doing! Can you just explain he basics please? merci!
PS- should I go with the Sparkly Seahorses or Flaming Flamingos?

Well generally, you draft players from the league and create a team. my league, you have 3C’s, 3 RW, 3 LW, 4 D, 1 UTIL, 4 BENCH, AND 2 G. each week, you face the team of someone in your league. Depends on the league you’re in, in my league, there are 12 categories of scoring. they are G,A,P,+/-,PIM,PPP,SHP,SOG.W,GAA,SV%, and SHO. so if my team in total has 3 wins and the other 2 wins, i get the point. the score at the end of the week might look like 8-4. Get it? if its 6-6, its a tie. but there are other leagues where each scoring thing like a Goal or an assist is worth a certain amount of points so whoever has the most point by the end of the week wins the week. i played fantasy baseball like that and the scores would usually be like in the 200 somethings. i don;t know about hockey. you can also trade with people in your league.

overall, fantasy sports are really fun. and id go with Sparkly Seahorses

how do madden 12 ultimate team collections work?

Posted on October 12th, 2011 by admin

I’m confused about how collections work in ultimate team in Madden. Once you get one of the collection cards from buying a pack, do you automatically get credit for it in your collection? I have one of the stadiums (Jets) in one of the collections but it still shows I have zero items in that collection. In fact, I have purchased two packs and still have no items from collections. Do I have to activate a card or something? Any help would be helpful…thanks!

once you get a card that is eligible for collection you must "send it to pending colletction"
after you have done this you go to the menu and go to "collections". go to the collection which has the card you are trying to "collect". once you are in that collection you shoud see the card you placed their is now highlighted. go to to this card and select it, now you will have the menu pop up to collect this card.

hope this helps.

Where can a find a girls volleyball or soccer team for teenagers in LA?

Posted on October 8th, 2011 by admin

I’ve been in my past school’s volleyball team since 7th grade and I’ve been playing soccer since 3rd grade and I’ve been in all my school teams until now. I just moved school for my sophomore year, but I wasn’t able to join my new school’s soccer or volleyball team. Where can I find a girls volleyball or soccer team in LA? AND it’s best to be near Griffith Park.

What are the most beloved teams in baseball?

Posted on October 1st, 2011 by admin

I don’t mean the Yankees because a lot of people have Yankees hats, I mean which teams have the most fans that are really in love with their teams and really believe in them.
No biased answers please.

It is a doubled edged sword. While teams such as the Phillies, Red Sox and the Yankees are all hated for many reasons, they are also the most beloved. Other than buying their merchandise, you can tell people love them because fans go to their games. For example, when the Yankees go to the Rays, the stadium is 85% Yankee fans.

Any ideas on making a classroom display on team building?

Posted on September 15th, 2011 by admin

Does anybody have any ideas of what to include to make it ‘interactive’ and also what type of work to put up on it?

The theme is team building and id like to show pictures of what the children have done in their group activities.

You could make a stair case of empty blocks that would lead to a reward and each stair step would need to be filled with a picture of the class working together as a team. Once the stairs are filled with their pictures then they get the reward. You can speak to the class about how they will have to work as a team to climb the staircase and without team work they will never get there. I would recommend letting the students pick the reward so it is more intriguing to them and they will work harder to reach it. They may even come up with ideas and activities on how to work as a team so they will get their picture taken for the staircase. Good luck!

When was the last time a Scottish team scored 4 goals in Europe, before tonight?

Posted on September 12th, 2011 by admin

Congratulations Hearts – already overshadowing the ‘big’ two.
No no no, Hearts will officially overshadow the big two, when they WIN the league. It’s in the bag Jamie – no other scenario is possible.

They’ll also get further than the old firm in the Europa League two.

Rangers and Celtic: Get ready to unite on excuses why Hearts got further.

COME ON HEARTS!

Well done the Jambos.

I’d love Hearts to get to the Final and WIN it, it would be so very great. Hearts are fantastic and they are my most favourite team, behind Mankchester Untied.

How do you rate the current Philadelphia Eagles "Dream Team" in the history of the NFL?

Posted on September 10th, 2011 by admin

Jackson, DeSean
Asomugha, Nnamdi
Vick, Michael
Rodgers-Cromartie, Dominique
Maclin, Jeremy
Samuel, Asante
Young, Vince

Among others…

You could add Jesus and his twelve Apostles. Andy Reid would still find a way to mess it up.

how much is a yankees 1927 dream team sports collectible frame worth?

Posted on September 7th, 2011 by admin

The frame has 9 players cards, 5 at the top of the frame and 4 at the bottom. The players are Lou Gehrig, Earle Combs, Babe Ruth, Bob Meusel Tony Lazzeri, Miller Huggins, Herb Pennock, Waite Hoyt, and Wiley Moore. in the middle of the frame is the states to the four games played during the world series and at the bottom between the 4 players cards is the name Dream Team Sports Collectibles.

if you paid more than $5 for it at the garage sale, well….

Why do the eagles think they have a dream team?

Posted on September 3rd, 2011 by admin

A dream team is what the cowboys had in the 1990’s you have to have a hall of fame runningback, a huge offensive line and a bunch of pro bowl pass rushers. The eagles have none of that they just signed a few high profile free agents because they are so desperate for something to happen. It is almost comical to think of them as a dreamteam.

They’re not you idiot. Vince Young, who had been with the Eagles for two seconds said that and is among the dumbest players today, the media took it and ran with it and now the media is calling them that. Reid even said he didn’t want that attention on his team and declined to answering any questions about that. I don’t even know why you Cowboys fans are sweating the Eagles so much. Maybe instead of remembering winning a SB 15 years ago, you worry about at least them making one in this decade instead of bragging about something you did years ago. Maybe you should worry about your joke for a secondary instead of the Eagles. Maybe you should worry about your overrated ILBs and DEs instead of the Eagles or maybe that weak line you think will magically fix itself or making sure your runningbacks can at least get 900 yards.
