Such as tennis and golf? Every country gets saturation media coverage of its own national team sports competitions plus coverage of country v country comps eg cricket tests, tri nations RU. while individual sports have a few world highlights eg Wimbledon & Opens in tennis & golf but little else.

Yeah, every country obviously focuses on the sport that is apart of their national identity. I guess the individual sports are more world renowned, and not unique to the individual country, hence recieving less media attention?
